Receipt / KOT printer (ESC/POS)

Works with USB or serial thermal printers (Epson-compatible, 58 mm or 80 mm). Connect once per browser session.

Weighing scale (serial)

Shows the live reading from a serial scale. Selling by weight needs fractional quantities, which the register does not support yet — this is a reading display only.

Customer display

Open this on a second screen on the same computer. It mirrors the register's cart live.

Already supported / not built

• Barcode scanner — works today: scanners that type like a keyboard fill the register's barcode field.
• UPI QR — works today at checkout.
• Card machine — payments are recorded as "card"; there is no terminal integration (needs your bank's / provider's SDK).
• Network (LAN) printers — browsers can't open raw TCP sockets; use USB/serial here, or a small print agent that fetches /api/hardware/receipt/<id>.
